“Total liberation involves every facet of the personality.”

– Frantz Fanon

I was led to a career in mental health to support marginalized communities and bring awareness of social issues’ impact on mental health. Through my own therapy, I unlearned internal messages that no longer serve me; increasing my sense of power, agency, and liberation. I developed an immense desire to guide and walk alongside others on their wellness journey.

The core of my work is culturally-centered, anti-racist, and fueled by social justice, to honor and hold space for the lived experiences of the global majority. I bring my authentic self to all sessions by incorporating humor, music, and culture, inviting you to bring your whole self too. The therapeutic environment I foster with clients is authentic, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and filled with compassion with an invitation to lean into the discomfort of growth.

I specialize in Latinx/e counseling and supporting the healing journey of individuals who identify as part of the global majority, ages 18+. In treatment, I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with cultural issues such as imposture syndrome, acculturation stress, racial trauma, first-generation stressors, life transitions, intergenerational trauma, anxiety, self-esteem issues, self-advocacy/boundaries, and relationship issues.

When working with me, you can expect a warm welcoming energy that meets you where you’re at and authentic curiosity.
